Kaelixis is a software and technology establishment based in Sulaymaniyah, in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq. We build software products, digital platforms and the systems behind them.
01 Purpose
Good software is more than a working feature. It is fast when people need it, careful with the information they trust it with, and still dependable years after its first release.
Kaelixis exists to build software to that standard — both our own products and the software we build for others. We approach every project as engineers: understand the problem, choose the simplest design that solves it, and build it properly.
02 Philosophy
Every decision should have a reason. We plan before we build and prefer steady progress over rushed releases.
Interfaces, code and architecture should be easy to understand — for the people using them today and the engineers maintaining them tomorrow.
Software affects people and their data. We treat security, privacy and reliability as obligations, not options.

The principles that guide how we design and build, in every product and every project.
Complex systems should remain understandable. We choose the simplest design that meets the need and remove what does not.
User data deserves careful handling. We collect what is necessary, protect what we hold and are open about how it is used.
Software should be dependable beyond the demo — tested, monitored and designed to fail gracefully.
Fast experiences are part of good product design. We measure speed and treat regressions as defects.
Details matter. Naming, spacing, error messages and edge cases are all part of the product.
We build systems that can evolve, rather than systems that only ship quickly.
04 Privacy
Privacy is an architectural decision. We consider what data a system truly needs before designing how it is stored, who can access it and how long it is kept.
This website follows the same approach. It uses no analytics or advertising trackers, serves its fonts and files from its own server, and sets a cookie only on the page that needs one.

Quality is not a final inspection step. It comes from clear requirements, code review, automated testing and attention to how software behaves in real conditions — on slow networks, on small screens and under load.
We would rather release less, and release it well.
